A school focused on living well

Living School is focused on learning the ‘living’ philosophy:

Living Well

Living well (which some describe as mindfulness or wellness) is a positive state of being.  It is about living in the moment, conscious of our sub-conscious.  With awareness we are able to manage our emotions, behaviour and reactions.  Living School emphasises wellness by incorporating programs such as meditation, yoga, nutrition and positive psychology.  Living well is based on the belief that our consciousness is not just registered in the brain but in every cell in our body.

Living School is focused on learning the ‘living’ philosophy:

Living Food

Living food is focused on nutrition and well-being by using ingredients that are home-grown and natural.  Living food encompasses the raw food movement and permaculture.  Living School adopts these principles in developing ‘free-range’ kids: offering space, nature-based learning, and the opportunity to garden, play and explore the natural environment.

Living School is focused on learning the ‘living’ philosophy:

Living Architecture

Living architecture is based on structures that grow and are sustainable.  It is also a movement founded by the philosopher, Alain de Botton – who has created holiday rentals designed by leading architects.  The focus is to offer the general public a chance to experience good design – and in a school, building and design should be inspirational (see greenschool.org or caveurban.com).

Living School is focused on learning the ‘living’ philosophy:

Living for Life

In today’s hectic time-poor busyness, many are seeking a calmer lifestyle with greater balance.  The focus on authentic ‘Living’ is acclaimed by leading philosopher Alain de Botton (who is involved in The School of Life, London; and founder of Living Architecture).  Movements that focus on sustainability, green as a means for environmental awareness, and mental wellness all share in the principles of living for life.
