Sustainable and Meaningful Contributions

Zac Panaretos

CF-7 PDHPE/SPORT (Year 7 Home Teacher)

My dream for living school is to see our students excited to come and learn as part of a strong and supportive community. That our students are able to use our unique approach to make sustainable and meaningful contributions to their lives and those around them.

I endeavour to bring Traditional Owners’ perspectives to the forefront of our students’ thinking. Challenging students to step out of societal boundaries to challenge truly themselves.

I hope to develop positive relationships and gain the trust of my students, so that we can get on with the fun of learning.

My philosophy for education is going above and beyond to meet the needs of students, giving them the best possible opportunity in their journey into adulthood.

I believe that a community outlook, with particular regard to relationships with students and their families, is essential for students to adopt an holistic approach to their education.

I strive to develop a strong rapport with students based on a genuine concern for their wellbeing and success. In my experience the flow-on effect of extra effort outside of the classroom has enhanced student participation, behaviour management, welfare and an enthusiasm to learn.
