Immunisation

The Department of Health recommends that children entering school should be immunised.

Immunisation is available from a general practitioner or most Community Clinics.

It is a Department of Health regulation that a Certificate of Immunisation be presented to the school when a child is enrolled.

If a student is not immunised against a specific illness and there is an outbreak of a recognised infectious disease, parents will be asked to withdraw their child from school until the outbreak is over.
