P.2.B.11 Animals Policy

Scope & Purpose 

This policy applies to all animals kept on Living School premises, including classroom pets and animals used in agricultural programs, animals involved in animal-assisted wellbeing programs run by Living School, and any interactions between students and animals, whether on or off school grounds, that are part of Living School activities. Its purpose is to ensure the ethical treatment and welfare of animals within the Living School environment, comply with all applicable local and national legislation regarding the use of animals in educational contexts, and provide clear guidelines for Living School staff, students, and parents on responsibilities and procedures related to animals at the school.
