Scope & Purpose 

This policy outlines the requirements, responsibilities, and procedures for the safe administration, storage, and management of prescribed and non-prescribed medication at Living School. It applies to all students, parents/carers, and staff involved in medication administration during school hours, excursions, or school-related activities. The policy aims to ensure that medication is administered safely and appropriately, in accordance with medical instructions and parental authorisation, while maintaining accurate records and protecting student confidentiality. It also establishes clear guidance for staff training, student self-administration, emergency care, and disposal of medication, ensuring the health and wellbeing of all students within the Living School community.
