Code of Conduct – Staff

The Code of Conduct for school employees emphasises the importance of adhering to the School’s policies and procedures, particularly those related to your role. Employees are expected to seek clarification from the Learning Neighbourhood Director, and/or HR Manager and/or Conductor if they are unsure about any policy. The Code highlights that employees hold positions of trust and are accountable for their actions, including the obligation to report certain information to the School.

Employees must treat everyone with respect, as this is a key value of Living School. They have a duty of care to ensure student safety through supervision, safe facilities, bullying prevention, and medical assistance when needed. The Code emphasises promoting student welfare, following child protection policies, and preventing harm.

Work Health and Safety is a priority, and employees must contribute to a safe work environment. Personal interests should not affect professional duties or integrity. Employees are also reminded to use electronic communications responsibly, as they are monitored and permanent.
