If a child is unwell during the school day, teachers are able to send them to sick bay in the relevant Learning Neighbourhood designated areas (with the office staff).
When the student comes to sick bay, office staff will ask them what is wrong.
Teachers do not need to write a note but if you feel that office staff need to know something, please ring the office.
During the breaks, the student/s need to see the person who is on duty unless the matter is serious and requires a visit to sick bay.
All serious injuries must be entered into Classter at the time the student presents to sick bay. If a head injury is sustained, the student needs to be observed and monitored for concussion. Parents must be informed if there is a head injury in case there is a delayed concussion.
