SCHOOL PROTOCOL REQUIREMENTS |
| CHICKEN POX | Students must remain at home for five (5) days after the rash first appears and until the blisters have all scabbed over. |
| MEASLES | Students must not come to school for at least five (5) days from the appearance of rash. |
| MUMPS | Students must not come to school until fully recovered, at least nine (9) days after the swelling occurs. |
| WHOOPING COUGH (PERTUSSIS) | Students must be isolated immediately. Students must remain at home until the first five (5) days of a special antibiotic have been taken. |
| RUBELLA | Students must not come to school for at least four (4) days after the rash appears. |
| CONJUNCTIVITIS | Students must not come to school until all discharge has ceased. A medical certificate is required. |
| CORONA VIRUS DISEASE (COVID-19) | Do not attend school if unwell, even with mild symptoms. Get tested for COVID-19 and follow NSW Health directions.
● Anyone who is unwell with COVID-19 symptoms is strongly encouraged to get tested and self-isolate until a negative result is received. Find your local testing clinics. ● Self-isolation periods and testing requirements are constantly changing. Please access NSW Health for the latest advice. |
| HEAD LICE | Students must not come to school until treatment with anti-lice shampoo has been undertaken. |
