Teachers must attend all meetings on time – and on time means being early. Teachers’ aides and other staff are not expected to attend meetings unless explicitly requested, but they are always most welcome.
Operations and Communication meetings are held every Monday morning. These are important meetings as the content will update teachers on the week ahead and forward planning considerations. All staff contracted to work on Monday must attend at 8:25am for an 8:30am meeting. The Operations Manager manages these meetings and an agenda is sent out on the preceding Friday, which all staff are expected to read prior to the meeting.
Staff meetings are held on a Tuesday afternoon at 3:20pm and alternate between Whole School teacher meetings and Individual Learning Neighbourhood meetings. Please check the calendar to ensure that you are aware where meetings will take place.
Wholebeing (Welfare) meetings are scheduled for every Wednesday – and they will alternate between Academy, Middle School and Primary. These meetings are managed by the school Advocate and/or Learning Neighbourhood Director – or Behaviour Manager.
Executive meetings are held on Monday afternoons with all Learning Neighbourhood Directors and senior executive positions. The Conductor’s PA manages the Executive meetings – and an agenda is sent out on the preceding Thursday.
Special meetings may be called for staff to attend if there is an urgent need, i.e. crisis, sports carnival, camp, excursion, etc..
- Guardians of Purpose (Board) meetings are held six times a year on a Saturday – and are attended by the Conductor and Business Manager.
