Scope & Purpose 

Living School is committed to promoting the safety and wellbeing of its students and staff and will provide a first aid service for students, staff and visitors.

• The School is equipped to assist a student for minor ailments only. Parents will be contacted if a student has suffered a substantial injury; shows symptoms of illness such as vomiting, temperature or has symptoms of a contagious illness of any kind e.g., chicken pox.
• The School Secretary is trained in First Aid and is authorised to provide such aid.
• The Office has the facility to administer First Aid treatment. 
• The First Aid Officer is located in the reception area and will typically be the member of staff to whom significant First Aid issues are referred.
• Analgesics will only be administered in an emergency and with parental permission.
