All teaching programs are an educational requirement and must be compliant with NESA regulations and the Living School progressive pedagogy.

There is an expected process to be followed:

1. Consider the KeyStone Theme – and formulate (with students) and inquiry-based question/s
2. Review the NESA curriculum requirements (especially mandatory requirements for specific subjects)
3. Review the Living School scope and sequences – and ensure these are followed*
4. Schedule and design your program around the six week learning scaffold – avoid wherever possible extending your program to roll over into the following term’s KeyStone
5. Use the specific Learning Neighbourhood’s programming tool to publish your program
6. Any budget/resourcing requirements must be approved by the Learning Neighbourhood Director – and the Business Manager
7. Any excursions/incursions/camps must be submitted via Consent2Go, which will be approved by the Operations Manager
8. Communicate with parents
9. Review and update any adjustments to ensure the program is a living document
