The NSW Educational Standards Authority is the body responsible for ensuring the standards for Education in NSW are met. NESA states:

We are an independent statutory authority reporting to an independent Board and the NSW Minister for Education and Early Childhood Learning. Making sure all children and young people in NSW leave school ready to take advantage of life’s opportunities, as well as to rise to its inevitable challenges, is at the heart of what we do. We achieve this by supporting the school sectors to deliver the best possible outcomes for students through high-quality syllabuses, assessment, teaching standards and school environments.

eTAMS (electronic Teacher Administration Management System)

Teachers are required to pay a yearly membership fee to NESA and maintain their accreditation via eTAMS.  It is the teacher’s responsibility to ensure they have maintained their accreditation, paid all outstanding fees (all teachers must pay $100 via the online site).

On employment with Living School, teachers are required to allocate Living School as their employer via the eTAMS system.  On resignation or movement from Living School, teachers are expected to withdraw Living School as their place of employment.

Casual teachers must ask the Conductor to be aligned with Living School as a teacher.
